Formwork Pivot Plate Nut for Tie Bar 15mm

The Formwork Pivot Plate Nut for Tie Bar 15mm is a nut with a plate that threads onto a 15mm tie bar. The pivot lets the plate sit flat on the form face even when the tie bar does not meet the face at a right angle.

Fit one pivot plate nut to each end of the tie bar and tighten until the form faces sit at the wall thickness. One nut weighs about 1kg. Powerpac also stocks the Z bar in a 15mm x 3000mm length, along with the standard plate nut, wing nut, flange plate and joiner.

Powerpac has not published the pivot range or the load rating for this nut, so get the safe working load from the formwork designer.
