Ground Protection Mat – 2440 x 1220 x 13mm

Ground Protection Mat protects concrete, asphalt or grassed ground from heavy tracked and wheeled machinery driving straight across it. Plant running directly over a finished surface or lawn gouges, cracks or ruts it, and repairing that damage afterwards costs far more than protecting the ground up front. This mat is HDPE, with a diamond plate top for grip underfoot and under tyres, and a smooth underside that spreads the load of the machinery across a wider footprint rather than concentrating it under a single track or wheel. Rated to carry an 80-tonne evenly distributed load with a 240 psi crush rating, it stands up to excavators, cranes and other heavy plant. Interlocking brackets join mats edge to edge, so a run of them forms one continuous, stable surface instead of shifting apart under load. Each mat measures 2440mm x 1220mm x 13mm, with carry handles built in for manual handling. Construction crews use it to protect finished surfaces from later trades, create temporary trackways over grass for site traffic, and keep plant off surfaces that can’t be repaired until the job is done.
