Vaporgard Jointing Tape is a high-tack, high-strength tape for jointing Vaporgard damp proof membrane and Smartform sacrificial formwork panels. A poorly sealed lap in a DPM or formwork joint lets moisture or grout bypass the barrier, undoing the protection the membrane or panel is there to provide. This tape is a PVC film with a rubber-based adhesive, giving an adhesion power of 1.6 N/25mm and a tensile strength of 23-24 N/25mm across its 0.11mm thickness. It withstands heat up to 60°C, holding its seal through the temperatures generated during a concrete pour and cure. Supplied in a 72mm x 30m roll, it seals lap zones and joints on both DPM and Smartform panel installations. Concreters and formwork crews use it wherever Vaporgard DPM or Smartform panels need a continuous, moisture-tight joint.
