Vaporgard Orange DPM – 4m x 25m 300 micron – BRANZ Approved

Vaporgard Orange DPM Polythene is a damp-proof membrane laid under concrete slabs to stop ground moisture from reaching the building above. Without a DPM, water vapour moves up through the slab and into the structure. This feeds mould and mildew, and it can damage flooring materials laid over the concrete.

Vaporgard is a 300 micron polythene sheet with a vapour flow resistance of not less than 90 MNs/g, so it meets the moisture control requirements of NZBC Acceptable Solution E2/AS1 and NZS 3604. Vaporgard is BRANZ Appraised under Appraisal No. 1296 (2026) for use under concrete slab-on-ground and, within a defined scope, on buildings subject to specific design. BRANZ expects a serviceable life of at least 50 years when the membrane is installed and maintained in line with the Appraisal and kept protected from sunlight and UV.

Supplied as a 4m x 25m roll covering 100m², folded for easier handling and carrying. Vaporgard must not be exposed to UV for more than 30 days before the slab is poured. Site managers and concreters specify Vaporgard under concrete slabs on residential and commercial builds across New Zealand.
