LumiSense is a single-point sensor cable designed to be embedded within a concrete slab prior to pouring. Built for precision and reliability, LumiSense measures temperatures at a high degree of accuracy through a sealed IP68-rated stainless steel end tube.

LumiSense is a single-point temperature sensor cable for the LumiCon concrete maturity monitoring system, connecting to a LumiNode data logger to track curing temperature inside the pour. A sensor that can’t survive being cast into wet concrete or handled on a busy site produces gaps in the maturity curve right when the data matters most. LumiSense has a 13kg cable pull strength, so it holds up to routine handling during placement without the connection failing. It reads temperature to an accuracy of ±0.5°C between -10°C and 80°C, and ±1.0°C below -10°C, across an overall operating range of -30°C to 80°C. The cable is 3.2mm in diameter with a 4.0mm sensor head, carrying one sensor per cable. Concreters and QA teams use it to log curing temperature at a single point in a slab, footing, or precast element for maturity-based strength tracking.
