Steel Mould & Equipment Protector HG

Steel Mould & Equipment Protector HG protects precast steel moulds from rust and pitting during longer or harsher storage periods than the Medium Grade version is rated for. Bare steel left in storage corrodes, and a mould that’s pitted or rusted produces a poorer surface finish on the next casting. This is the Heavy Grade version in Rockbond’s corrosion inhibitor range, positioned above Medium Grade for extended protection. Precasters use it to protect moulds and equipment during longer storage periods between production runs.
