Surface Retarder – Plus – 200L

Surface Retarder Plus delays the surface set of fresh concrete for exposed aggregate work over 20MPa and in hot weather, where the standard Surface Retarder isn’t rated for the job. Higher strength concrete and hot weather both push against a retarder’s working window, and using the standard product outside its rating risks an inconsistent exposed aggregate finish. This retarder is ideal for decorative precast panels and exposed aggregate work over 20MPa, covering 3-5 square metres per litre. This is the 200L size, suited to larger precast operations. Precasters and concrete finishers use it wherever the standard Surface Retarder isn’t rated for the strength or conditions involved.
