SmartBlock – Magnet Recess Former

SmartBlock Magnet Recess Former creates a recess around a lifting anchor as the block is poured, so the anchor stays accessible once the concrete has cured instead of being buried flush with the surface. A lifting anchor cast flush with the top of a block has nothing for a clutch to grip once the concrete sets around it. This recess former mounts magnetically to the mould before pouring, holding its position over the anchor point without extra fixings, and leaves a clean conical void around the anchor once stripped. It’s rated for a 2.5T face lifter. Concrete yards and sites use it wherever a block needs a lifting point cast in and left accessible for the SmartBlock lifting clutch.
