SmartBlock – Mould Fixing Wedge

SmartBlock Mould Fixing Wedge locks the mould panels together at the join, so they stay tight and square under the pressure of a fresh concrete pour. A join that isn’t properly fixed can spread slightly as concrete pushes against it, leaving a ridge or step in the finished block face. This wedge fits into the mould’s fixing points and holds the panels together at the join, keeping the mould rigid through filling, compaction and curing. Concrete yards and sites use it as a standard part of assembling a SmartBlock mould before every pour.
