LVL Scaffold Plank 3.0m

Timber LVL Plank 3.0m, commonly called a scaffold plank on New Zealand sites, is a laminated veneer lumber board built for scaffold decking and concrete formwork. Standard sawn timber can twist or split under repeated site use, especially where a plank spans between bearers and carries foot traffic day after day.

LVL construction addresses this. The plank is built from laminated timber veneers in a 230mm x 42mm section, which holds its strength and straightness along the full 3.0m length. Each plank weighs 15kg, light enough for one person to carry and position without machinery, and the painted ends slow moisture uptake through the end grain during outdoor storage.
