SmartForm Sacrificial Formwork 2400mm x 2250mm

SmartForm 2400mm eliminates the need to strip formwork or backfill an oversized excavation once a pour has cured. Conventional formwork means digging extra working space to fit rigid panels, stripping them after the concrete sets, and cleaning or disposing of them, all adding labour and site risk. This sheet combines a welded high-tensile steel mesh with a UV-resistant polyethylene facing, fixed in place with tie wire alone, no hammer, nails or saws needed. It’s light enough to handle without lifting equipment, so backfill can go in before the concrete is even poured, and once the pour cures the formwork simply stays in the ground as lost formwork. Supplied pre-formed to size or as a flat sheet to cut and shape on site, it handles curves and special profiles that rigid formwork can’t. This sheet measures 2.4m wide by 2.25m long, in yellow. Concrete crews use wider sheets like this for larger structural pours, temporary fencing and safety screens.
