Z Bar Joiner – 100mm

The Z Bar Joiner 100mm is a coupler that joins two lengths of Z bar tie end to end. Use it when the wall is wider than one bar can span or when two cut-off lengths need to make one tie. The joiner is 100mm long and weighs about 0.8kg.

Thread one bar into each end of the joiner until both reach the joiner, then fit the nuts and plates as normal. Powerpac also stocks the Z bar in a 15mm x 3000mm length, along with the plate nut, wing nut and flange plate.

Powerpac has not published the load rating for a joined tie, and a joint can lower the tie capacity, so get the safe working load from the formwork designer before using the joiner.
