ZBar Plate 100mm x 125mm x 10mm Zinc (Box of 20)

The ZBar Plate 100mm x 125mm x 10mm Zinc is a rectangular steel plate with a zinc finish, sold in a box of 20. Each plate measures 100mm by 125mm and is 10mm thick. A full box weighs about 22kg.

The plate sits behind a nut at the end of a Z bar tie and spreads the clamping load across the form face. The zinc finish gives the steel a light coating against rust. Powerpac also stocks the Z bar in a 15mm x 3000mm length, along with the plate nut, wing nut, flange plate and joiner.

Powerpac has not published the hole size, the steel grade or the load rating for this plate, so check the hole against the bar and get the safe working load from the formwork designer.
