Precast Magnet – 280 x 60 x 40mm (Formwork Clamp not included)

The Precast Magnet is a shuttering magnet built to hold formwork fittings and cast-in items against a steel mould face during a precast pour. Loose fittings shift out of position as concrete is placed, throwing off the finished panel’s dimensions or fixing points. A magnet surrounded by a steel casing and fitted with an engage/disengage handle locks the fitting against the ferrous mould surface, holding it dead still through the pour. Placing it is a single motion: position it where it’s needed and push down on the handle to engage the magnet. It measures 280 x 60 x 40mm and weighs 2.8kg, built for repeated daily use in a precast yard. This magnet is supplied without the formwork clamp, sold separately, and is removed from the mould with a pry bar rather than by hand. Precasters use it wherever a fitting, insert, or void former needs to stay exactly in place against a steel mould through the pour.
