Rebar Safety Capping Strip 1m

The Rebar Safety Capping Strip is a continuous 1m plastic strip that clips over exposed rebar to prevent impalement injuries, protecting a full run of bar in one length rather than one bar at a time. Capping each exposed bar individually with a single push-on cap is slow work on a cage with dozens of ends, and a site with rebar left standing at height or waist level carries a well-known fall-onto-rebar hazard. This heavy grade plastic strip fits securely over the rebar and can be applied in both horizontal and vertical positions, covering a row of bars along the top of a cage or capping bars standing vertically. It’s rated to withstand a 100kg impact from a 3m height and stays secure and stable across all reinforcement diameters, tested to EMPA Test Certificate 460’353/2. Reusable and weather resistant, it comes in 1m lengths supplied by the metre. Steel fixers and site safety officers use it to protect a full run of exposed rebar quickly, alongside individual push-on caps for isolated bars.
