Cemix 20kg Low Carbon Cement

Cemix Low Carbon Cement, also known as Cemix Eco Strong, is a blended cement using fly ash and furnace slag to lower its carbon footprint compared with standard Portland cement, for civil, commercial, industrial, and residential concrete work. Standard cement production carries a significant carbon cost, and projects with sustainability requirements or a lower-carbon material target need an alternative that still performs to the same New Zealand standard. Cemix Low Carbon Cement complies with NZS 3122:2009, so it can be specified anywhere general purpose cement is used without a compliance gap. It’s supplied in a 20kg bag for on-site mixing with sand and aggregate at standard mix ratios. Concreters and builders use it as a drop-in lower-carbon alternative to general purpose cement on jobs where reducing embodied carbon in concrete is part of the brief.
