Sandbags – Hessian 720mm x 450mm – Unfilled are empty natural-fibre bags supplied for filling on site with sand, soil or aggregate. Each hessian bag arrives unfilled and empty at just 0.3kg, so bags are light to transport and store in bulk until they’re needed and filled with local material. The natural jute fibre construction breaks down over time once exposed to weather, so bags used for temporary erosion or sediment control don’t need to be collected and removed afterwards. At 720mm x 450mm, each bag holds enough fill to build an effective barrier or check dam once packed.
