THREADED ROD MILD STEEL M12X1m GALV

Threaded Rod Mild Steel M12 x 1m Galv is a 1 metre length of M12 rod with a continuous thread along its full length and a galvanised finish. You cut it to the length the job needs, then fit nuts and washers to each end.

The continuous thread means a nut can sit at any point on the rod, which gives fine adjustment for hangers, tie rods, anchor fixings and clamping jobs. The rod is mild steel, and the galvanised finish gives the steel a zinc coating against rust. One rod weighs 1kg.

Powerpac holds only limited load data for this rod, so do not use it where a design load must be verified. Builders also call this product threaded bar, all thread or studding.
