The Endo Air Hoist EHL-1TS lifts up to 1,000 kg through a 3 m lift on a single fall chain. It runs on compressed air and is controlled by a pull chain. Site and workshop crews call this type of unit an air chain hoist or pneumatic hoist.
The EHL-1TS hangs from a top hook suspension, so it needs an overhead fixing point or trolley rated for the hoist and the load together. The two fall EHL-1TW has the same 1,000 kg capacity and is the alternative when a two fall chain is wanted. Powerpac has not published the working air pressure, air consumption or a test certificate for the EHL-1TS, so check the Endo manual and your site’s lifting procedures before first use.
