SmartBlock – Concrete Block Step Mould 150 x 60 x 60

SmartBlock Step Mould casts a staircase profile directly into a concrete block, rather than building steps separately once the wall or retaining structure is in. Forming steps with conventional formwork means extra setup and extra pours, and retrofitting steps onto an existing block structure is slower again. This steel mould uses a staircase model divider insert to cast a stepped profile into a 1500mm x 600mm x 600mm block in one pour, with a concave base that keys into the block below it. Built from steel with a chamfered edge for a tidy finish, each mould weighs 210kg and casts a 0.439m³ block. Sites and concrete yards use it to cast integrated steps as part of a retaining wall or block structure, rather than as a separate job.
