140 x 45 SG8 Framing Timber – per meter

140 x 45 SG8 Framing Timber is sold per metre and cut to the length you order. The section measures 140mm deep by 45mm wide and carries an SG8 structural grade, the grade NZ builders use for framing members that carry load.

On a formwork job, a 140 x 45 section works as a bearer, waler or strongback behind the form face, where the extra depth gives a stiffer member than a 90mm section. It also frames walls, floors and temporary works. One metre weighs about 2.94kg.
