LVL Formwork Timber 150mm x 77mm x 5.8m is a structural laminated veneer lumber beam built for bearers, joists, walers, and soldiers in concrete formwork. Standard sawn timber can bow or twist along its length, and strength can vary from one length to the next, which shows up as an uneven concrete finish once the formwork comes off.

Laminated veneer construction solves this. Thin timber veneers are bonded into a single 150mm x 77mm section, which holds its strength and straightness along the full 5.8m length. The beam is lighter than equivalent sawn timber of the same size, and its edges are chamfered for easier handling. A water repellent paint finish protects the timber through repeated site use.
