Z Bar Wing Nut – Single Arm

The Z Bar Wing Nut Single Arm is a hand-tightened nut for the 15mm Z bar tie. A single wing gives you a lever to turn the nut by hand, so you can snug the tie up and strip it later without a spanner. One nut weighs about 0.28kg.

Use the wing nut with a plate or flange plate that spreads the load over the form face. Powerpac also stocks the Z bar in a 15mm x 3000mm length, along with the plate nut, flange plate and joiner.

Powerpac has not published the load rating for this nut, so get the safe working load from the formwork designer.
